Cookies and Browser Storage

A clear explanation of the browser technologies used to keep your account secure, remember your session and provide interactive maps and payments.

Last updated 2 August 2026
At a glance
10xPlot currently uses only storage needed for sign-in, security and core service functions. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site profiling.
01

Essential storage

When you sign in, 10xPlot uses short-lived access and refresh tokens in Secure, HttpOnly cookies. Browser JavaScript cannot read these authentication cookies. A separate anti-forgery cookie is used to validate account-changing requests.

  • Keeping your account signed in.
  • Authorising access to private projects and paid features.
  • Protecting the service from unauthorised use.
  • Remembering choices required for core functionality.
Required for signed-in use
Clearing these cookies signs you out. The signed-in workspace cannot operate without essential authentication and anti-forgery cookies. Referral attribution is stored separately in first-party browser storage and expires automatically.
02

Service measurement

10xPlot may record operational events such as a successful upload, completed payment, report access, Land Showcase view or buyer enquiry. These records help deliver the feature, maintain account history, prevent abuse and understand whether the service is working.

At present, 10xPlot does not place optional behavioural-analytics or advertising cookies. If optional analytics is introduced, this policy and the available consent choices will be updated before it is activated.

03

Referral attribution

When you open a unique 10xPlot referral-partner link, the browser stores the referral code, an anonymous visit reference, source and expiry date. If you create a new account before it expires, the referral is attached to that account so a later Stripe-confirmed purchase can be counted accurately.

Referral partners receive campaign totals and anonymous customer references. They do not receive your email address, Lag Thram, parcel location, payment-card details or report contents.

04

Third-party services

Some features connect to specialist providers. Their services may use cookies or similar technologies when you interact with them.

  • Google, when you choose Google sign-in.
  • Stripe, when you open secure checkout.
  • Mapbox and its data providers, when an interactive map loads.

These providers describe their own use of cookies and information in their privacy documentation.

05

Your browser choices

You can remove cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, interrupt checkout or prevent maps and other features from operating correctly.

Browser controls vary, but they are usually found under Privacy, Cookies, Site Data or Security settings.
